Exploratory painting

 We were feeling deeply the contraints of being five and fitting into the school environment! We wanted to finish the week with a bit of freedom for some tired five year olds.

First we set up like this...

At first the tamariki were a little shy to start...

Then things started to gather momentum! Can we use this? Can I do that?

Then... lot's of laughter and giggling and the exploration really began...

The washing up was fun too...

Sometimes the pakeke are having just as much fun as the tamariki...

It was a good day all 'round...
