The Greedy Cat series of books by Joy Cowley are very popular with tamariki of the the nohinohi. They are facinated by this cat that is cheeky enough to steal kai from mum's shopping bag.
Gobble, gobble, gobble... has become a bit of a catchphrase in Harakeke this year, often heard at lunchtime as we gobble, gobble, gobble our kai - until "that was the end of that!"
